Bike For Ben - July, 2005
THANK YOU so much for coming and for all of your
support. We had an awesome day! Weather just as ordered - cloudy and then sun!!! No injuries, no glitches, no problems!!!
Here's the scoop:
230 wristbands - so about 230 people another 30 - 40 volunteers
$6000 in corporate sponsors
$4000 in donations prior to the event from the mailing
$15,000 that day!
Totaling about $25,000!!!!!!!!!!! and there are more envelopes still coming in. PS - if you have an envelope out still please send it in so we can tally.
Ben was overwhelmed and Ben and Rick were moved as they came over the hill and saw an ocean of yellow shirts coming their way - Ben and Rick did the 9 mile (about 30 people) and didn't see the assembling of the 3 mile people (about 200) till they came over the hill!
